The farm is only accessible by vehicles with a certain ground clearance, preferably 4×4’s as we do experience flash floods affecting the tracks .
Bring your recovery kit and a spade, it will probably not be necessary but it’s always the best to be prepared.
We believe that the aforegoing and the fact that we only take bookings for one group of people for the base camp at a time, attributes to the exclusivity thereof.
Every visit is tailor made to the specific needs of your group, therefore after initial contact via email, further arrangements are made via a telephone or whatsapp call (international guests) with the proprietor personalising the experience .
To blend in with nature, our self catering accommodation has a rustic feel and although the farm is completely off the grid, there is limited solar generated and battery stored electricity for device charging , lighting purposes and satellite Wifi . There is intermittent cellphone signal across the farm . At the base camp however, whatsap calls via satellite wifi is the only means of connectivity.
